David 'Pappy' Talburt

The Board of Directors of Good Turn Labor LLC provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure NGU’s mission is fulfilled with integrity and effectiveness.

The Board is responsible for fiduciary stewardship, long-term visioning, organizational policy, and supporting the Executive Director, program leadership, and program staff.

Pappy is currently the owner of TailGunner Mobile Blasting, a local mobile restorations company founded in Gretna in 2021/ From 1986-2008, Pappy served in the U.S. Air Force, both as an enlisted member then as a commissioned officer. He retried from the Offutt AFB Communications Group at the rank of Major. Following his retirement, he worked as a civilian analyst for the Department of Defense at the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt AFB from 2008-2023. Pappy, his wife, Patti, are members and regular attenders at Brookside Church in Omaha.
