The Board of Directors of Good Turn Labor LLC provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight to ensure NGU’s mission is fulfilled with integrity and effectiveness.

The Board is responsible for fiduciary stewardship, long-term visioning, organizational policy, and supporting the Executive Director, program leadership, and program staff.

Dr. Armstrong is the Dean of the College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Prior to this role, she served as the director and distinguished professor of the UNO School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She was also co-director of the Nebraska Collaborative for Violence Intervention and Prevention. As a criminologist, Armstrong engages in a collaborative approach to community engaged research encompassing criminal justice agencies, community stakeholders, state legislators, and individuals with lived criminal justice experiences across the U.S.
